| Vehicle Specific Enclosure - Toyota Yaris 3-Door Hatchback
All of our enclosures are constructed of the highest quality MDF, from American suppliers. No lightweight or filler woods are ever used. Each enclosure is precision cut in our 4500 sq.ft. facility by experienced fabricators. All of the speaker cutouts and corners are made by router for an exact fit every time. If you own one of these, you know that space in the back is tight. The traditional prefab enclosure available at many stores is not optimized for your cargo area. They can easily take up all the usable space, but we have a solution. Although our design is simple, it uses all the width and height available (while preserving the cargo cover) so that you get the best sound, and still have some room for storage. Also, we wrap the enclosure in black carpet to match the interior of the hatch area. There is also plenty of room to mount an amplifier on the back and fit the box snuggly against the seat.
- Dual 10" or 12" cutouts
- 2.5 cu.ft of airspace, reducable by request
- 7.75" mounting depth
- OEM style black carpet
- Standard spring-loaded terminal cup for easy connection
What sets us apart from other manufacturers?
We have been in business for over 10 years, not just building speaker boxes, but complete audio systems for consumer and competition applications. Vehicles we have built have won numerous sound quality awards in IASCA going back to the early 2000's and more recently we have over 100 best of show trophies from Hot Import nights under our belt. We build every enclosure we sell from scratch, we don't bother to copy anyone else's designs.
What sets our boxes apart from other manufacturers?
Our positive feedback mostly speaks for itself. We use the best of every material we can find, from the wood, to the glue, nails, carpet, everything. We don't import these enclosures, or any of the parts that make them from China or other overseas suppliers. This makes it cost a little more, but creates dependable performance in every product we make. In every MDF enclosure we laminate the interior with a light coat of fiberglass resin. MDF is a pourous substrate, in factories large vaccums can pick up multiple sheets by sucking air through the wood. This makes for sub enclosures that are mostly sealed. A thin coat of fiberglass resin works to create a tighter seal for better sound. The process of stuffing silicone in the corners employed by most builders does not create a chemical bond like resin, and does not seal anything besides the corners, it is just cheaper. |
