Nissan Speaker Adapter Plates

Most new Nissan vehicles come from the factory with the oversized 6.5" speaker shown in the photo. To install a new pair of component or coaxial speakers, a set of mounting plates are required. These plates are made from two layers of MDF, precision cut by routers to the size of the factory speaker mounts. The mounting holes are predrilled into the wood. The hole for an aftermarket speaker is large enough to accommodate popular large frame 6.5" speakers. These plates are 1 " thick overall, and allow for the maximum mounting depth. Other sellers offer mounting plates that are 1" thick all around, but they do not allow for use of the factory screws, and in some models the thicker mounting flanges can prevent the door panels from fitting properly. The plates are primed and painted flat black to not draw attention through the factory grille. If you need a mounting diameter besides the standard 5.5" please indicate this with your order.
